(WTA)
is the cornerstone of Greater West Town Community Development
Project's Youth
Programs.
WTA's mission is to successfully re-enroll and re-engage
students between 17 and 21 who are not enrolled in a traditional
high school or
GED program, to complete their high school education and prepare
for post-secondary education or careers.

The Latin
American Festival: A Cultural Fiesta

When students talk about enjoyable times they have experienced at West Town
Academy, the 2008 Latin American Festival is bound to enter the conversation.
West Town Academy hosted its annual Latin American Festival on
October 31st, 2008. Students visited classrooms that represented
Mexico, Central America, South America, and the Caribbean. The festival was organized and celebrated with the goal of spreading
knowledge and appreciation of Latin cultures among everyone who
