About the vocational programs
Greater West Town Training Partnership is a bridge between companies who need skilled, reliable workers and community residents who are ready to work and to put their newly acquired technical skills to good use. The 12-week training in the Shipping & Receiving sector, or 15-week training in the Wood Products Manufacturing sector, serves as an effective pre-screening for your open positions. Rigorous attendance and performance expectations are upheld throughout the 5 days a week, full-time training. Students who can’t come on time, don’t graduate. Shipping students complete 380 hours and Woodworkers complete 450 hours of intensive, hands-on skills development.
Our placement services are free of charge.
